Well hello, November!

Did you know that there’s only 51 days until Christmas? Oh my, just typing that gives me a wave of anxiety!

There’s so much to do before the big day. There’s gifts to buy, wrapping paper to wrangle, and cookies to burn (I mean… bake)! Oh, and we can’t forget about all of the decorating- trimming the tree, decking the halls, and hanging the lights. I love when my home is all decked out for Christmas! It’s such a cozy and comforting time of year. I love sitting by the warm fireplace at night, watching the reflection of light dance along all of the sparkly ornaments. Now that’s a merry moment!

Around this time every year, the holiday catalogs start to fill our mailbox. I flip through the pages, browsing and admiring all of the tinsel and trimmings, secretly wishing I had the skill (and the money) to decorate my home like that. The truth is, however, that I don’t. I don’t have the time, the patience, or the deep pockets necessary to make every inch of my home sparkle with the shiny trimmings of the season.
But what I may lack in financial resources, I make up for with my handy-dandy printer and a few ounces of creativity!
