The Spring ‘Thyme’ Sipper – Happy 1st Day of Spring!

The Spring ‘Thyme’ Sipper – Happy 1st Day of Spring!

Our family loves warm weather and being outside, so we are absolutely delighted that spring is finally here! People tease me because I have been counting down the days until spring ever since December (maybe even sooner). I am so happy that Mother Nature decided to cooperate today and deliver us a big dose of sunshine, blue skies, and warm air. We were outside without jackets today… and to think on Monday we were building snowmen!?

In honor of the changing seasons, and the anticipation of the warmer days to come, today I am highlighting some of my favorite “signs of spring”. I hope you enjoy this little glimpse into our Chesapeake paradise!

Oh, and of course we’re celebrating spring Blue Crab Martini style- with a drink we’ve dubbed The Spring ‘Thyme’ Sipper. It’s bright, zesty, and highlights the fresh flavors of spring. So grab a glass and let’s toast to the official start of spring, cheers!

According to Shaun, this is a “Dwarfed Daffodil”. Daffodils are my FAVORITE. Can’t wait for these beauties to bloom!
